# delete-bucket

Available in Classic and VPC

Delete a bucket created in Object Storage.

## Syntax

The `delete-bucket` syntax is as follows:

```
aws s3api delete-bucket \
    --bucket <bucket> \
    --endpoint-url <endpoint-url>
```

## Options

This section describes the options available when running `delete-bucket`.

### Required options

The following options are required for `delete-bucket`.

| `--bucket` | String | Required | Bucket name |

## Examples

If the bucket deletion request is successful, the bucket is deleted, and no result is displayed.

### Command

The command example is as follows:

    --endpoint-url=https://kr.object.ncloudstorage.com
```
