# deleteCloudMysqlServerInstance

Available in VPC

Delete a slave or recovery server instance in Cloud DB for MySQL.

## Syntax

The `deleteCloudMysqlServerInstance` syntax is as follows:

```
./ncloud vmysql deleteCloudMysqlServerInstance \
    --cloudMysqlServerInstanceNo <server-instance-no> \
    [--regionCode <KR|SGN|JPN>] \
    [--output <json|xml>]
```

## Options

This section describes the options available when running `deleteCloudMysqlServerInstance`.

### Required options

The following options are required for `deleteCloudMysqlServerInstance`.

## Examples

If the request to delete a slave or recovery server instance is successful, the configuration information for the Cloud DB for MySQL instance and the shutdown status of the slave/recovery server are returned.
