# createNasVolumeSnapshot

Available in VPC

Create a snapshot of a NAS volume instance. Check the size of the snapshot before running. f the capacity allocated for the snapshot is exceeded after running the , the snapshot may not be created or past snapshots may be deleted.

## Syntax

The `createNasVolumeSnapshot` syntax is as follows:

```
./ncloud vnas createNasVolumeSnapshot \
    --nasVolumeInstanceNo <nas-volume-instance-no> \
    [--regionCode <KR|SGN|JPN>] \
    [--output <json|xml>]
```

## Options

This section describes the options available when running `createNasVolumeSnapshot`.

### Required options

The following options are required for `createNasVolumeSnapshot`.

## Examples

If the snapshot creation request is successful, the identification information and capacity information for the created snapshot are returned.
