# restoreNasVolumeWithSnapshot

Available in VPC

Restore a NAS volume using a snapshot. When you restore a NAS volume, only the snapshot used for recovery and any snapshots created before it are retained; snapshots created after the point of recovery are lost.

## Syntax

The `restoreNasVolumeWithSnapshot` syntax is as follows:

```
./ncloud vnas restoreNasVolumeWithSnapshot \
    --nasVolumeInstanceNo <nas-volume-instance-no> \
    --nasVolumeSnapshotName <nas-volume-snapshot-name> \
    [--regionCode <KR|SGN|JPN>] \
    [--output <json|xml>]
```

## Options

This section describes the options available when running `restoreNasVolumeWithSnapshot`.

### Required options

The following options are required for `restoreNasVolumeWithSnapshot`.

| `--nasVolumeInstanceNo` | String | Required | NAS volume instance number - See [getNasVolumeInstanceList](/docs/en/cli-vnas-volume-getnasvolumeinstancelist). |
| `--nasVolumeSnapshotName` | String | Required | Name of the snapshot to use for recovery - See [getNasVolumeSnapshotList](/docs/en/cli-vnas-snapshot-getnasvolumesnapshotlist). |

## Examples

If the NAS volume recovery request is successful, the identification and capacity information for the snapshot stored after recovery is returned.
